Battle of Uhud

The Battle of Uhud was fought on 15th Shawwal 3 (3rd April 625)[1], between a force from the small Muslim community of Medina
The meccans where lead by Khalid Bin Walid and defeated the Muslims due to many of the sahaba who were archers disobeying the commands of the prophet 
to stay put .
